Arrive early, before the larger afternoon crowds. Walk to the cave entrance and swim in its clear natural saltwater pool, surrounded by limestone formations and illuminated by sunlight entering through the cave opening.
The Rangko Cave entrance fee of approximately Rp 50,000 per person is not included and is paid locally.

Continue to Hatamin Island and snorkel around the Coral Guardian restoration area. See the underwater coral restoration tables and discover how damaged reef environments are being restored and protected.

Explore the beautiful island scenery, beaches, and deep drop-off reefs around Le Pirate and

Travel south to Angel Island, also known as Bidadari. Enjoy lunch, relax on the beach, and
snorkel in the island’s clear, shallow water.

Visit Kelor Island for a short but steep trek to its panoramic viewpoint. From the top, enjoy sweeping views across the surrounding islands and brilliant blue water.

Guests who prefer not to trek may relax on the beach, swim in the calm shallows, or snorkel around the sandbar. Small reef sharks are sometimes seen while snorkeling, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Extend your island adventure into the evening with a sunset visit to Kalong Island, home to one of the most impressive natural wildlife displays near Labuan Bajo.

Cruise toward Kalong Island and drop anchor near its mangrove-covered shoreline. Relax aboard the boat as the sun approaches the horizon and the surrounding islands become dark silhouettes against the changing sky.

As daylight begins to fade, thousands of giant flying foxes awaken in the mangroves. At first, only a few appear above the trees. Within minutes, the sky begins filling with a continuous stream of flying foxes heading out across the sea in search of food.

Watch these impressive animals pass overhead against the orange, pink, and purple colors of sunset. The procession can stretch across the horizon, creating the extraordinary sight of thousands of flying foxes silhouetted against the evening sky.

The combination of calm water, surrounding islands, a tropical sunset, and this enormous wildlife migration makes the Kalong Island experience an unforgettable conclusion to the day.

After the flying foxes have crossed the sunset sky, return swiftly to Labuan Bajo Harbor.
