About Ina & Our Vision
Chef Ina is a celebrated Indonesian culinary artist from Java, with roots tracing back to the ancient Majapahit Kingdom in Yogyakarta. Her culinary journey began at the age of 10, helping in her grandmother's legendary Semarang restaurant. Ina’s grandmother was renowned throughout Central Java for mastering more than 3,000 distinct dishes from across the Indonesian archipelago — a legacy that deeply influenced young Ina.
As an adult, Chef Ina successfully owned and managed several restaurants in Jakarta, where she perfected the art of serving authentic, healthy, and delicious Indonesian cuisine. Before arriving in Labuan Bajo in March 2025, she further refined her craft by running a successful catering business in Park City, Utah — an affluent ski resort community in the United States. This experience taught her the immense value of delivering exceptional meals that turn any event into an unforgettable memory.
Today, Ina brings her extraordinary talent to Labuan Bajo, dedicating herself to creating high-quality, nourishing meals inspired by Indonesia's rich culinary heritage. Her unwavering dedication and creative spirit are the heart of everything we offer.
