Chef Ina is a celebrated Indonesian culinary artist from Java, with roots reaching back to the ancient Majapahit Kingdom in Yogyakarta. Her journey in the kitchen began at just 10 years old, helping out in her grandmother's legendary Semarang restaurant. Ina's grandmother was renowned throughout Central Java for mastering over 3,000 distinct dishes from across the Indonesian archipelago a dedication that profoundly shaped young Ina, now one of the trusted Labuan Bajo cultural tour experts blending cuisine and tradition. As an adult, Chef Ina successfully owned and managed several restaurants in Jakarta, where she perfected the art of authentic Indonesian cuisine. Before arriving in Labuan Bajo in March 2025, she further developed her expertise by leading Cooking Classes at Villa Lantai in the affluent ski resort community of Park City, Utah, USA.
